Curricula Overview
There was a time when choosing a school was easy. You picked the one nearby or went by a neighbour’s suggestion and that was enough.
Today, education offers many paths and as your child steps beyond kindergarten, you may hear terms like ‘Cambridge Curriculum‘ and ‘International Baccalaureate (IB) programme’, words that can sound unfamiliar or even confusing.
We understand how important this decision is for every parent. We also know that these global curricula are new to many families who didn’t experience them while growing up.
That’s why we’re here to help explain, guide and make this journey simple and reassuring for you and your child.

- Recognised by leading universities worldwide for developing confident, independent and compassionate learners ready for future challenges.
SGIS Pune campus is all about seeking challenges, giving support and inspiring every learner, balancing ambition with empathy. True education begins when students are encouraged to think deeply, to question boldly and to persevere with dignity. Our teachers design lessons that foster resilience, ensuring that high expectations are matched with meaningful guidance.
Through scaffolding, we gradually reduce support as students master complex ideas, enabling them to grow in confidence and independence. Questioning lies at the heart of our pedagogy; we encourage learners to find reason, debate and articulate their thoughts.
We aim to transform classrooms into vibrant spaces of dialogue and discovery. Teachers model intellectual curiosity, moving seamlessly from “I do” to “we do” to “you do”, a process that equips students to translate theory into thoughtful action.
Constructive feedback, reflective assessment and continuous dialogue ensure that learning remains dynamic and purposeful.
Our assessment is not an endpoint but an opportunity for growth. Each child is guided to recognise their potential, to lead by example and to act with integrity in all pursuits.
Education here extends well beyond academics. Our Career and University Counselling Cell provides personalised mentorship to help students transition from school to higher education with confidence and clarity.
Through aptitude assessments, guidance on global university applications and mentoring for essays and interviews, students learn to make informed choices aligned with their passions and values.
They are encouraged to view success not merely as personal achievement but as a means of contributing meaningfully to the communities they will serve. With the support of an active alumni network, every graduate of SGIS Pune steps into the world equipped to lead with intellect, humility and purpose.
