No Tobacco Day : 'SMOKING' - A FATAL FAD

An Anti Tobacco street play was performed by the students of Sanjay Ghodawat International School students to create awareness about tobacco and its ill effects. Around 9 girls from std. VIII took part in the play. The play gave a brief account of tobacco and how it adversely affects the various organs of the body.

It also highlighted how the tobacco companies are generating revenue from this particular slow poison and making business. Students also grabbed the attention of audience on the issue that how tobacco is going to ruin the future generation



This street play was framed on the guidelines issued by CBSE, New Delhi vide letter CBSE / ACAD / AD&IC (R&I) / 2015 and circular no. Acad -26 / 2015. Dated: 28th May 2015 issued on World No Tobacco Day 2015.

We are glad to announce that this play also got selected by CBSE out of the best 30 entries from all over the country. This play was directed by Mr. Raju Dabhade under the able guidance of Smt. Sasmita Mohanty, Principal, Sanjay Ghodawat International School and cinematography by Mr.Bharat Dhawle and Mr. Sandip Chakrobarty. Hon. Chairman mr. Sanjay Ghodawat and Trustee Mr. Vinayak Bhosale extended their hearty congratulations for this achievement.
